The following information is relevant for all faculties except Nursing and IOPPN

In most cases, Core and Compulsory modules are automatically added to your record each year. However, there might be some programmes where you can choose which of these Core or Compulsory modules you take each year; these are selected at the same time as Optional modules.

If you need to select modules, you will receive an email providing you with the details and confirmation of the deadline by which you must have submitted your selections.

For New Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students, optional modules are normally selected during the period just before the start of the programme. Each faculty will set specific dates for the year and these are published online - scroll down the Before you arrive webpage to the "Read about online module selection" section.

For Continuing Undergraduate students, optional modules are normally selected during March/April each year. You will be informed of the exact dates a week in advance of this by email.

For Continuing Postgraduate Taught students, optional modules are normally selected during the period just before the start of the new academic year. Each Faculty will set specific dates for the year and these are published online - scroll down the Before you arrive webpage to the "Read about online module selection" section.
