Our Pre-sessional courses at King's are a great alternative to IELTS tests because they teach you both academic and language skills you'll need during your degree. Our Pre-sessional courses are designed to not only help you meet the English language requirements of your degree offer, but also to familiarise you with the challenges and expectations of UK higher education.
To be eligible for the Pre-sessional courses, applicants must have received an offer to study an academic programme at King’s. If you have not submitted an application to study either an undergraduate or postgraduate award programme at King’s you will not be eligible for these courses.
Those students who require a Student visa to study in the UK will need to provide a UKVI-approved IELTS as evidence of their English proficiency to gain entry to these courses.
