We try to see students as soon as possible from applying, within 4 weeks.

During peak periods, there might be a wait of up to 10 weeks but we will prioritise students depending on levels of distress and academic status (for example, final year students).

Changes to the Counselling & Mental Health Support Service (C&MHSS)

Important to know: As with many other services across King's, the Counselling & Mental Health Support Service has shifted to a remote service during this period of remote study for students and remote working for staff due to CoronavirusFor more detail on the changes please see our article Accessing Student Support & Wellbeing remotely

During this time we can offer appointments within 7 working days of registering with the Service.
