You can print, copy and scan documents from the HP and Samsung multifunction devices (MFDs) in King's student computer rooms and libraries across all campuses. If you plan to come to campus, please make sure you have read our safety guidance and article about booking space in a library or computer room: Study space & computer rooms on campus.

Since the coronavirus pandemic, all student MFDs have been fitted with antibacterial self-cleaning screens so there is no need to clean them before use. More information on printer locations are on IT's student computing webpages and detailed how-to guides can be found on the Print Scan Copy section of the Digital Skills Hub.

Before photocopying you should be aware of the copyright legislation and user guidelines. The Licensed Copying User Guidelines produced by the Copyright Licensing Agency are displayed by each MFD; for further details see the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Additional special arrangements apply for copying material from Archives and Special Collections.

Important to know: you use your King's ID card to print, copy and scan.
