If you have overlapping 24-hour assessments:

If you have overlapping 24-hour assessments within your timetable, this is not considered a clash. You are expected to manage your time throughout this period to submit your assessments before the submission deadlines.

If you have two or more online exams scheduled at the same time:

Every effort is made by our Faculties and the Examinations Office to prevent central timetable clashes, and these rarely occur. If you, however, identify a clash in your timetable, you must notify your  department/faculty at the earliest possible opportunity and in any event no more than one week after the exam timetable is published.

When contacting your department/faculty please include

  • Your name
  • Student ID number
  • The date/time, module codes/titles of the clashing exam assessments.

Your department/faculty will then make additional arrangements to enable you to take your assessments.

Important to know: If you have any further queries or concerns about your exam timetable, please get in touch with your department/faculty in the first instance.
