Most exams during the main examination periods take place at Olympia, which is an off-campus venue. Please ensure that you always check the location of your exam and consider how you will get there in advance.
Olympia London is a large international exhibition and convention centre that hosts a variety of events so please be aware that there could be other events taking place in other areas of the venue. There will be signs directing you to the location of the exam halls when you arrive and King's College London staff will be in the reception area to provide help and directions.
Location & travel to Olympia
Please make sure you have planned your route to get to Olympia in advance. It’s a good idea to aim to arrive at the venue at least 45 minutes before your exam is due to start. These are a range of resources you can use to find the venue and plan your route, including Olympia London, Google maps, Citymapper and Transport for London. The venue full address is: Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, Kensington, London , W14 8UX
Most exams at Olympia take place on Level 2 and Level 3 of the Olympia Central building. The entrance to this building is located between Gates F and D on Hammersmith Road. Olympia has produced a Venue Map that shows the location of the entry gates and surrounding roads.
Arrival & security checks at Olympia
Olympia London Security operates a bag search policy, so there are full bag searches when you enter the building. This is why we advise you to arrive at least 45 minutes before your exam starts.
The security bag searches can sometimes cause delays entering the building. If possible, please avoid bringing bags and/or try to limit the possessions you bring with you. If you can bring any belongings in a clear plastic bag, even better.
