What is the NSS?
The National Student Survey (NSS) is an annual, national survey which is disseminated to all students at the universities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It’s a great opportunity for students to share their honest feedback on what it has been like to study on their course at university.
Why should you take part?
- Completing the survey not only gives you the chance to say what you like about your course at university, but importantly what changes could be made to improve your experience.
- With your feedback you’ll be making a difference to your own university experience as well as helping prospective students make informed decisions about where and what to study.
- You can be honest. Your responses remain completely confidential. The survey is run independently by Ipsos MORI, so your feedback is anonymised before it is shared with King’s.
- It’s quick and simple, there are only 27 questions in the NSS. Completing the survey will take approximately 10 minutes.
We are committed to improving your experience and highly value your insight and perspective. So, taking part in the NSS is a perfect opportunity to share your honest views with us so we can make positive changes.
The NSS was open 6 January to 30 April 2021.
