This article is for students in The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care.
While on placement, you’re expected to wear visible ID with your name and student status, so patients/clients know who is taking care of them.
Other ID you may wear will depend on where you work.
For example, students at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust wear a yellow, magnetic badge.
You will be provided with your badge during your welcome week. You should always wear your badge when on placement.
Important to know: Please keep your name badge safe.
What if I lose my name badge?
