What is a start up visa? 
The Start up visa is route is for people who have developed a credible business idea and who want to set up their own business in the UK.  UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) have introduced a Start-up visa route in order to allow both graduates and non-graduates alike to apply for a 2-year visa to set up their own business in the UK.  The Start -up visa scheme is open to both graduates and non-graduates who have been endorsed by an approved endorsing body. A list of endorsing bodies can be found on the Gov.uk webpages
 
King’s College London is an authorised endorsing body for the Start-up visa scheme. Please refer to the King’s Entrepreneurship Institute webpage for guidance on how final year students and alumni can apply to be endorsed by King’s College as a Start-up visa holder.
