Faculty Education Services
Faculty Education Services is a group of professional service departments who manage activity across the student lifecycle including programme administration and quality assurance, enabling digital delivery and providing services for our undergraduate and postgraduate taught student communities.
There are five departments in Faculty Education Services, supporting both the School of Bioscience Education and the GKT School of Medical Education. The five departments are:
- Programme, Placement & Assessment (Bioscience)
- Programme, Placement & Assessment (PSRB)
- Digital Education
- Student Experience & Support
- Quality

Student feedback
We want to make sure that you have the best possible experience during your time at King’s. Throughout your studies, you there are various ways in which you can provide feedback on teaching, content, and your overall student experience, including:
Student representatives
Feedback can be reported to the Student Rep for your cohort or course. This feedback will be taken to the Staff Student Liaison Committee for your course, which in turn will report to the Faculty Education Committees.
Module feedback
Evaluation is a crucial part of highlighting best practice and maintaining our excellent standard of teaching throughout the Faculty. At the end of the semester you are asked to give feedback on all aspects of the quality of teaching that you have experienced and the design and delivery of the module itself. A summary of the feedback and any actions taken will be published on the relevant module page on KEATS.
National student surveys
Towards the end of your studies at King's you will also be invited to complete a survey covering your whole programme of study and overall experience. This will either be the National Student Survey (NSS) for undergraduates or the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) for postgraduates.
Student Experience team
The faculty Student Experience team work with academics and other staff members to improve the student experience and to promote opportunities for you.
