Episode 1: Men and Mental Health
We kick off by focusing on Men and Mental Health in conversation with two of our male counsellors, Ade and Tom. They share how they feel as men; how to navigate mental health and wellbeing; their shared love of football, sharing circles, the barbers and Talk Club; they want to know what the best spaces for could be identifying male students to come together to share, chat and hang out.
Episode 2: Self Care during Ramadan
The second in our series is a conversation focusing on Self-care during Ramadan. Sharing their top tips to look after your wellbeing and mental health are two of our student officers HF, VP for Welfare and Community, and Sheeba Naaz, VP Postgraduate, talking with Saleh Ahmed-Miah, Library Assistant and co-chair of Anti-Racism Community of Practice (ARCoP).
Episode 3: LGBTQ+ Wellbeing and Mental Health
The third topic of conversation is talking about LGBTQ+ and GSRD. We're discussing what it's like to identify as LGBTQ+ here at King's - as a student and staff member and how we navigate our own wellbeing and mental health at work and university. In conversation with Jo Levy, Head of Mental Health Outreach and Training, is Kirsty McLaren, Senior Widening Participation Officer and Committee Member of the Proudly King’s LGBTQ+ Staff Network.
Episode 4: King's Student Mental Health Strategy and the Whole University Approach to Mental Health and Wellbeing
In conversation are Aneeska Sohal, Head of Strategy for Student Mental Health and Wellbeing and Liv Grosvenor, Student Mental Health & Wellbeing Strategy Project Manager. They talk about the whole university approach to mental health and wellbeing, the importance of it, what it entails and how they are exploring that strategically at King's.
