Academic staff hours

Academic staff at King’s hold weekly office hours during term time. These are dedicated times when you can meet with your lecturers to ask questions, get help with module content, or discuss anything related to your studies.

Office hours may take place:

• in person, in the lecturer’s office, or online

• at fixed weekly times or by appointment, arranged through email.

Important to know:

• Office hours only run during term time. During Reading Week and out of term time, you’ll need to email staff to arrange an appointment.
• Teaching staff also have research and administrative commitments, so they may not respond immediately outside their advertised office hours.
