If you’re a student who has registered with Disability Support & Inclusion with a Specific Learning Difference (SpLD) or neurodiverse condition, you’ll use a coversheet or exam script sticker to ensure markers are alerted to this.
The coversheet and sticker include information explaining to the marker that the student is pre-linguistically D/deaf, has a Specific Learning Difference (SpLD) or neurodiverse disability. It asks for your condition to be considered when marking for sentence structures and spelling.
Accessing your coversheet
I've been granted a disability assessment coversheet, how can I access it?
To access your coversheet:
- Log in to Student Records
- Select Student Home Page
- Select My Coursework Coversheet. This is where you’ll find the link to your coversheet.
For hard-copy coursework submissions
Your neurodiversity assessment coversheet can be printed and attached to the front of any of your coursework submissions.
For electronic coursework submissions
You’ll need to copy and paste the text of the neurodiversity assessment coversheet and include it as the front page of your coursework.

I've now got a disability coversheet. What will happen to the grades I obtained for coursework I submitted without my neurodiversity assessment coversheet?
We advise that you get in touch with your faculty or department for further advice, as King’s unfortunately can’t consider any adjustments retrospectively.
