Money Mentors are current students at King’s College London who have a passion for helping their peers by ensuring they are as money savvy as possible.

Our page Who are the Money Mentors and how can you get involved? introduces the team for the 2022-23 academic year.

They are here to make sure that you make the most of your money, whatever your budget. The Mentors can offer guidance on how to make a budget, where to get the best discounts and deals in London, how to save the pennies and where you can get help if needed.

The Student Money Mentor project is student led, with guidance from the Money & Housing Advisors. The campaigns, self-help articles, blogs and Instagram content is all created by students, for students. They have also contributed to our articles on managing your money:

The Money Mentors have been trained by the Advice & Guidance Team and external partners Blackbullion and Developing Youth Practice on the main sources of statutory funding, money management skills, student discounts, hardship funds and financial safety online.

Important to know:  Money Mentors can give guidance and tips only; if you require specialist and detailed advice on your options please contact the Money & Housing Advisers
