The Student Money Mentor project is student led, with guidance from the Money & Housing Advisors. The campaigns, self-help articles, blogs and Instagram content is all created by students, for students. They have also contributed to our articles on managing your money:
The Money Mentors have been trained by the Advice & Guidance Team and external partners Blackbullion on the main sources of statutory funding, money management skills, student discounts, hardship funds and financial safety online.

You can meet our Money Mentors at Open Days, Virtual Fairs and other events where they can share with you their experiences of life on a student budget, as well as how and where to seek help when you need it.
