At King’s, we're committed to delivering outstanding educational experiences. We want to make sure that your student journey is the best it can be, and your feedback helps us to do this.
Your views are important as they enable us to identify strengths and weaknesses, promoting developments that improve experiences for future students.
A key part of your new student journey is Welcome to King’s. In this article, we outline the ways you can share your views and opinions about your Welcome experience and how your feedback is used.
The best way to provide feedback about your experience is the Welcome to King’s survey, which is emailed to you at the end of the Welcome period, either in September or January. There’s also a reminder email sent the week before the survey closes.
By completing the survey, you’ll have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw as a thank you for your time.
The survey includes questions about:
- You, your faculty and your course
- Your first time on campus
- Welcome to King’s app and video channel
- Welcome to King’s emails
- Welcome events and hubs
- Your programme/department induction
- Your personal tutor
- Friends and connections
Important to know: if you’re a King’s Digital student, you’ll be invited to feedback via your Student Success team.
Your feedback is reviewed by teams across King’s, including:
- The central Welcome team
- Faculty staff
- Student support services
Important to note: the Welcome to King’s survey asks for your King's student number to better understand the experiences of different student groups. However, your individual responses are not shared.
We use your responses to make meaningful changes, whether that’s updating the Welcome to King’s app, improving the clarity and content of our emails, or enhancing the events and support offered during Welcome.
