If you're a prospective, current or recently graduated student, we can provide you with free, confidential and practical advice. Our Visa & International Student Advice team can support you with any concerns you might have about visas, immigration and living or working in the UK.

If you prefer to speak to us over the phone, please call us on the number below. Please ensure you have your Student ID ready, as your adviser will ask for this at the start of the call. Please note these calls are usually for a maximum of 15 minutes. If your query is complex, then it may require an appointment or follow-up by email.

Our phone service is available on Fridays between 09.00-11.00 when King's is open (UK time).

Drop-in sessions

Drop-in sessions take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 13.00-15.00 in the Strand Student Centre on Floor 4, Bush House North West.

To support comfort and wellbeing, drop-in sessions will take place with interview pod doors open to improve ventilation. If you'd prefer a different arrangement, including a pre-booked online appointment, please email us at advice@kcl.ac.uk.

New student questions

From Monday 14 - Friday 25 September 2026, advisers will be located next to the ID card collection point on Strand Campus to support new students with quick questions. If you need more detailed support, advisers will let you know and make sure you're booked in for a confidential appointment.
