Student Finance England (SFE) funding

If you meet the eligibility criteria for SFE funding, you can be awarded a Maintenance Loan towards your living costs, this is paid to you in three parts, over the academic year, and a Tuition Fee Loan which is paid straight to King’s. Read more about SFE Funding: Get undergraduate student finance: step by step - GOV.UK.

To ensure your funding is in place for the start of each academic year, make sure you apply before the deadlines. The deadlines usually fall in May for new students, and in June for continuing students. You can read more about funding deadlines on SFE's website.

The information in this article also applies to funding from Student Finance Wales (SFW) and Student Finance NI (SFNI).

Remember that you need to apply for funding for each year of your course.
