There are two possible outcomes:

If you’ve been asked to select your modules in preference order
Once the module selection period has ended, your faculty/department will review all selections and make decisions on the final allocation of modules for each student. If you’d like information on the criteria for this, contact your faculty/department.
The email sent from Student Records listing your selections is only to remind you of what you selected and in what order – it doesn’t confirm the modules that you’ll be taking.

If your faculty/department is using the online approval process to approve selections
If your faculty/department is using this process, you’ll be notified by email once your selections have been approved. Your status on Student Records’ module registration page will change to ‘CON’ to confirm your module registrations have been approved.

If the programmes team doesn’t approve some/all of your modules, you’ll be advised by email to re-visit the module registration page on Student Records and check the comments left to find out which modules haven’t been approved and why. You’ll have to re-select your modules and submit again.

Please make sure that you keep an eye out for any emails regarding the approval or rejection of your module selections as, if you need to re-select, this must be done before the module selection period ends.
