Depending on your programme of study, you may have the option to select optional modules before you start your first term at King’s.

You’ll receive an email from Student Records or your programmes team when the module selection task is available. This email will provide you with links to a webpage of information that is specific to your faculty/department, and you should read this carefully before beginning the task as it provides additional information on what you need to do and how the process works.

To select your modules:

  1. Follow the links in the email to log in to Student Records and enter the task; that allows you to select your modules.

  2. Follow any guidelines provided by your faculty/department which will be shown within the module selection task.

  3. The modules available for you to select will be listed in collections. Each collection will provide instructions on the number of modules/credits that you need to select from that collection.

  4. Once you select a module, it will appear in a ‘shopping basket’ on the right-hand side of the page.

Important to know: If you’re in the IoPPN, FoLSM or Nursing (NMPC) faculties, your record is managed by your respective faculty team, and the module registration/selection process may be different to what is described for other faculties.
